Discover what's inside the Fuji 6150 salonTAN PLATINUM T-Pro Start-Up Kit and learn how to set it up for a quiet, powerful spray tanning experience.
Quick answer
The Fuji 6150 salonTAN PLATINUM T-Pro Ultra Quiet Start-Up Kit includes the turbine, spray gun, cup, hose, and accessories needed for professional spray tanning. This guide covers unboxing, assembly, and first-use steps so you can start tanning with confidence.
Why choose the Fuji 6150 salonTAN PLATINUM T-Pro?
This system stands out for its ultra-quiet operation, thanks to patented soundproofing and a specially balanced 2-stage motor. If you work in a salon where noise matters, this is a major advantage over louder turbines. The kit is designed for technicians who want a powerful yet discreet workstation.
The start-up kit bundles everything you need in one purchase, saving you the hassle of sourcing components separately. However, it does not include spray tan solution, so you'll need to buy that separately. The turbine's 2-stage motor provides consistent airflow for even coverage, but it may be overkill for very low-volume or mobile setups.
What's inside the box?
The start-up kit typically includes the Fuji 6150 turbine (with the PLATINUM T-Pro design), a professional spray gun, a 1-quart cup, a 25-foot hose, a filter set, and a carrying case. Some packages also include a cleaning kit and spare needles. Always verify the exact contents with your retailer, as bundles can vary slightly.
The turbine is the centerpiece: it's engineered for quiet performance and durability. The spray gun is ergonomic and compatible with most standard spray tan cups. The included hose is long enough for most salon setups, but you may need an extension for very large spaces.
Decision rules for setup
- Unbox and inspect: Open the carrying case and check that all components are present: turbine, spray gun, cup, hose, filter set, and any included accessories. Report missing items to the seller immediately. Keep the original packaging for warranty returns.
- Assemble the spray gun and cup: Attach the cup to the spray gun by screwing it on until snug. Do not overtighten. Connect the hose to the gun's air inlet and the turbine's air outlet. Ensure all connections are secure but not forced. Use the included filter between the cup and gun to prevent debris from clogging the nozzle.
- Power on and test airflow: Plug the turbine into a grounded outlet. Turn the power switch on. Adjust the air pressure knob on the turbine to a low setting first, then gradually increase until you hear a steady airflow. Test the spray pattern with water before using solution. Always test with water to check for leaks and even spray before adding tanning solution.
- Adjust for your technique: The turbine's 2-stage motor allows fine control. For full-body tanning, start with medium pressure and adjust based on your spray distance and desired coverage. Lower pressure works for touch-ups, higher for faster full-body sessions. Document your preferred pressure settings for different client types to speed up future sessions.
